📋 Description

• Extract, recode, merge, and de-duplicate datasets for analysis • Conduct outlier analyses, manage missing data, and create derived analysis variables • Perform statistical analyses supporting research and reporting needs • Generate customized reports summarizing data analysis results • Produce computer-generated data listings, summary tables, and data collection outputs • Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and training to junior SAS programmers • Debug and revise code by identifying and resolving programming errors • Write and maintain documentation for code, programs, and technical specifications • Prepare technical reports and contribute to proposal development • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, Economics, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with large-scale healthcare administrative or claims data • Direct experience processing and analyzing Medicare, Medicaid, and/or other commercial claims data • Direct experience with pharmaceutical pricing data, prescription drug encounter data, or related data sources • Experience using SQL, Python, R, and/or other data analysis tools • Knowledge of data analysis and data management techniques • Experience applying SAS in research or analytical settings, particularly in health or social sciences • Knowledge and experience with advanced analytic techniques such as machine learning preferred, but not required • Proposal and report preparation experience preferred, but not required • Skilled in all aspects of data processing management • Effective communication and collaboration in a virtual work environment • Organizational and time management skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliveries in a fast-paced environment • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis • Employment-based visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available • May need to meet certain residency requirements depending on project work • Selected candidates will undergo reference and background checks • Must adhere to AIR’s child safeguarding standards and principles
