• Support AIR’s Healthcare Transformation Program, which addresses health care quality, costs, access, and program integrity • Lead a small team reviewing improper payments on State-Based health insurance exchanges • Review insurance application data to evaluate eligibility for Advance Payment of Premium Tax Credits (APTC) • Determine improper APTC payments, report findings, resolve discrepancies, and close appeal cases • Present findings to project leadership and stakeholders • Assist with annual program updates based on health policy analysis • Lead task execution to support smooth and efficient project delivery • Perform oversight and quality review of team members’ work products • Manage project information in Airtable or similar project management tools, including data management and interface coordination • Serve as the central point of contact for team members and ensure necessary resources and support • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and milestones • Coordinate and monitor project activities for timely completion • Prepare and distribute project documents and reports • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders • Identify and resolve issues affecting project progress and communicate status to project leadership
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis • Employment-based visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available • Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements • Ability to translate project needs into operational actions and provide consistent support across multiple projects • Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure timely completion of project activities • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing project information and preparing documents • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues impacting project progress • Ability to perform basic research, summarize findings, and extract relevant information from various sources • Effective communication and collaboration in a virtual work environment • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Experience working with or for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services preferred, but not required • Knowledge of health insurance exchanges preferred, but not required • Proficiency in Airtable or similar tools strongly preferred, but not required • Selected candidates must adhere to child safeguarding standards and undergo reference and background checks
