📋 Description

• Lead BizTech Enablement and Innovation, serving as BizTech's solutions partner to non-technical company functions • Own Airbnb's approach to AI adoption and impact outside of Engineering • Set the vision for AI-enabled work and hold functions accountable to measurable outcomes • Define the multi-year strategy and roadmap for AI adoption across non-technical functions • Assess capability gaps and emerging AI trends to guide investment decisions • Simplify business technology tools and close gaps that lead teams to adopt unsupported solutions • Set organizational OKRs, success criteria, baselines, targets, and ownership • Serve as the senior BizTech partner to executive and leadership teams on AI transformation • Establish frameworks for measuring and reporting AI business impact • Design and refine the operating model connecting technical functions and networks • Shape AI enablement so functions can build and share solutions at scale • Partner with platform and product teams to influence AI tooling roadmaps • Direct external partner and consulting engagements, including scope, governance, and ROI • Set quality, reliability, and security standards for AI solutions and own production operational issues • Prioritize technical debt and long-term maintenance of shipped solutions • Lead a globally distributed, multi-disciplinary organization of managers, Business Solutions Engineers, Systems Architects, and Program Managers • Build talent plans and succession pipelines, including hiring at L10 and above • Coach, mentor, and develop team members and leaders • Pilot emerging technologies with business teams and transition proven solutions to product owners • Represent BizTech in company-wide AI forums and contribute to hiring committees and talent processes • Role-model Airbnb's core values and strengthen its mission through responsible AI adoption

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of industry experience in business technology, enterprise systems, digital transformation, or technical program leadership • 5+ years leading managers and multi-disciplinary teams • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Demonstrated track record setting and delivering multi-year strategy for a company-wide technology or transformation program with executive visibility • Experience leading business technology consulting, solutions engineering, or IT business partnering for non-technical teams • Experience influencing product and vendor roadmaps • Experience owning the quality, reliability, and support of technology solutions in production • Experience building trusted relationships with and influencing C-level and E-Team executives • Deep, hands-on understanding of generative AI tools and agentic workflows • Strong analytical judgment and ability to define measurement frameworks, interpret adoption and impact data, and ensure data quality and credibility at an executive level • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and rapid change • Experience designing operating models across multiple teams and organizations without direct authority • Experience attracting, hiring, and developing senior talent and managers across regions • Preferred: experience leading enterprise AI adoption or change management at a large technology company • Preferred: experience managing external consulting partners and globally distributed teams • Preferred: ability to travel as needed, approximately 10 to 20%
