📋 Description

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent telecommunications and managed services projects from initiation through successful completion and closeout • Oversee infrastructure projects including Ethernet, SD-WAN, GPON, and firewall implementations across multiple customer sites • Direct internal engineering, operations, and service delivery teams; assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accountability to project milestones and deliverables • Coordinate with major telecom carriers, including AT&T, Lumen/CenturyLink, and Verizon, to expedite circuit ordering and resolve issues • Manage carrier relationships strategically, negotiate terms, and handle escalations • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies • Establish and track KPIs, project metrics, and success criteria; report progress to leadership and customers • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and scope changes; implement corrective actions • Serve as the primary customer communications contact, providing updates and managing stakeholder expectations • Communicate and manage expectations at the C-level • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle • Maintain project documentation, lessons learned, and best practices • Mentor and coach project managers • Optimize project management processes and systems and implement process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Mid-Level Project Manager: 1–3 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or operations roles within telecommunications or managed services • Senior Project Manager: 7+ years of progressive experience in project management, program management, or senior operations roles within telecommunications or managed services • Experience with telecom and network infrastructure projects, including Ethernet, SD-WAN, GPON, and firewall deployments • Experience coordinating with carriers on circuit ordering, provisioning, and service implementations • Ability to manage project budgets, resources, and timelines • Experience managing multiple vendors and carrier timelines across concurrent, high-priority projects • Proficiency with project management tools, ticketing systems, and business intelligence or reporting platforms • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to direct cross-functional teams • Strong stakeholder management skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in complex environments • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to leadership and customers • PMP or similar certification preferred • Experience managing multi-site, enterprise-level business connectivity projects preferred • Deep knowledge of telecom ordering processes, including ASR/LSR concepts and carrier provisioning workflows preferred • Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies preferred • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation preferred • Track record of delivering projects ahead of schedule or under budget preferred
