• Perform aircraft and component inspections and repairs in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, Federal Aviation Regulations, and applicable maintenance manuals • Plan maintenance efficiently and effectively to maximize aircraft availability • Serve as Lead Mechanic in the absence of the Lead Mechanic • Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation • Complete aircraft maintenance documentation in regulatory and company compliance • Request aviation parts and supplies and maintain an adequate, orderly inventory • Participate in the company Safety Management System continuous improvement phase and follow SMS policies and procedures • Maintain a clean and professional work area • Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service • Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by company leadership • Validate or confirm Status Report data for assigned aircraft • Mentor mechanics and provide on-the-job training • Troubleshoot and provide over-the-phone and on-site problem solving to outlying mechanics • Provide timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary • Perform other duties as assigned
• Must live in the Northeast Region: CT, DE, MA, MD, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA, WV • High school diploma or GED and five (5) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • FAA A&P License in good standing • EC135 or EC145 experience, or avionics-strong A&P mechanic with rotor experience • Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing • Sheet metal and composite repair procedures • Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, and related documents • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing • Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred • FAR 135 operations preferred • RAMCO experience preferred • Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
