📋 Description

• Manage technical and clinical training and education of surgeons and supporting personnel on approved Alcon Cataract, Refractive, and Glaucoma surgical device products • Train and document activities according to product work instructions • Deliver ongoing in-person and virtual clinical support to embed Alcon technology, improve patient outcomes, drive customer efficiencies, and support product adoption • Present complex subject matter to ophthalmic surgeons using evolving technologies • Train and support Alcon Digital Health SaaS offerings, including cloud, DICOM, and third-party device integrations • Attend and assist with convention demonstrations, Medical Congresses, fellowships, conferences, exhibits, seminars, and wet labs as a subject matter expert • Provide feedback to R&D on new technology and software development and testing • Assist with on-the-job training of new Clinical Applications Specialist associates • Align territory clinical training needs with commercial business goals through Strategic Account Management principles • Complete site-visit documentation, maintain internal systems, manage expenses, and report adverse events and device deficiencies • Collaborate with Field Service Engineers, Digital Engineers, Commercial, IT, Service Operations, and Clinical teams on installations, site support, and troubleshooting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs) • 2 Years of Relevant Experience • Fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English • Experience training surgeons and supporting personnel on surgical device products • Ability to provide clinical and technical support in-person and virtually • Ability to work with Digital Health SaaS platforms, cloud, DICOM, and third-party device integrations • Ability to work under minimal supervision with strategic planning, teamwork, organizational skills, and cross-functional interaction • Ability to travel 85% • Ability to achieve and maintain certifications on all Alcon products trained on • Ability to complete administrative documentation, maintain internal systems, manage expenses, and report adverse events and device deficiencies per company protocol
