📋 Description

• Manage technical and clinical training and education for surgeons and supporting personnel on approved use of Alcon Cataract, Refractive, and Glaucoma surgical device products, in-person and virtually • Train and document activities according to product work instructions • Deliver ongoing in-person and virtual clinical support within the assigned territory • Present complex subject matter to ophthalmic surgeons using innovative technologies • Train and support Alcon Digital Health SaaS offerings, including cloud and DICOM platforms and third-party device integrations • Attend and assist with convention demonstrations, Medical Congresses, fellowships, conferences, exhibits, seminars, and wet labs as a subject matter expert • Provide feedback to R&D on development and testing of new technologies and software • Assist with on-the-job training of new Clinical Applications Specialist associates • Align territory clinical training needs with commercial business goals through Strategic Account Management principles • Complete administrative responsibilities, maintain internal systems, manage expenses, and report adverse events and device deficiencies • Collaborate with Field Service Engineers, Digital Engineers, Commercial, IT, Service Operations, and Clinical Team on installations, site support, and troubleshooting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs) • 2 Years of Relevant Experience • Fluency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English • Ability to work under minimal supervision • Strategic planning skills • Strong teamwork skills • Excellent organizational skills • Cross-functional interaction skills • Ability to travel 85% • Ability to achieve and maintain certifications on all Alcon products trained on through annual recertification • Ability to complete administrative responsibilities within defined timelines • Ability to provide clear and accurate site-visit documentation • Ability to manage expenses and identify/report adverse events and device deficiencies per company protocol
