📋 Description

• Design, implement and maintain security services supporting the business • Lead development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive security strategies and solutions • Design and deploy advanced security controls to protect the business • Work across disciplines to shape security services strategy and execution • Set and uphold standards for security processes supporting high-quality engineering • Mentor and galvanize new engineers • Partner cross-functionally across teams to drive impactful outcomes and further secure the digital landscape • Employ data and automation at scale

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field • 8+ years of experience in software or security engineering within Cloud Native environments • Experience with modern cloud data platforms, such as Postgres, Snowflake, Databricks and AWS S3 • Experience with data architectures including data warehouses, data lakes and lakehouses • Deep experience with data discovery, classification and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) • Proficiency in Python or a similar language and regex patterns for automation and tooling integration • Foundational understanding of protecting PII/PHI and healthcare regulatory requirements such as HIPAA • Experience architecting, developing and deploying large-scale distributed systems at scale • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure and GCP • Experience building CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with server-side web technologies such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++ and Go • 4+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting • Experience with health-tech systems, including Electronic Health Records and clinical data • Hands-on experience with DSPM platforms such as Wiz DSPM, BigID, Cyera and Bedrock Data • Experience embedding security controls into data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows • Familiarity with data retention, lifecycle management and legal hold processes • Familiarity and experience with tokenization, encryption or cryptography tools or processes • Prior experience working in healthcare, health tech or another highly regulated, compliance-heavy environment • Ability to meet physical requirements including prolonged sitting, extensive computer and keyboard use, and occasional walking and lifting
