• Serve as subject matter expert for client-specific LOA and ADA accommodation programs, including FMLA, state leave laws, and company policies • Administer and manage leave and accommodation cases from initiation through resolution • Lead and facilitate the ADA interactive process with employees, supervisors, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders • Review medical documentation for completeness, sufficiency, and consistency • Evaluate the impact of medical conditions and functional limitations on essential job functions and leave eligibility • Identify and recommend reasonable accommodations under ADA regulations and client policies • Coordinate cases involving ADA, FMLA, STD, Workers’ Compensation, and other absence programs • Research and apply federal, state, and client-specific regulations to support case decisions and ensure compliance • Use clinical, legal, and operational resources for complex case management decisions • Maintain case management quality standards and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely case documentation • Communicate with employees, managers, healthcare providers, and client contacts to provide updates and obtain information • Support Intake, Customer Service, and other operational teams • Manage a high-volume caseload, prioritize competing demands, and provide timely intervention while maintaining confidentiality • Adhere to Alight values, policies, performance standards, and service expectations
• High School Diploma or equivalent required • 1+ year of customer service experience required • Experience in Leave of Absence case management, ADA accommodations, disability case management, or related absence management programs preferred • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, and related employment regulations preferred • Good oral and written communication skills • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and professional telephone etiquette • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to prioritize work and manage a significant volume of cases within established performance standards • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and short deadlines • Ability to type 50+ words per minute • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, including case management systems and Microsoft Office applications • Agreement that this is a temporary position anticipated to last 9 to 12 months • Work authorization in the employing country without current or future visa sponsorship requirement • Successful completion of a background check contingent on an offer
