📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI applications to solve complex business problems • Design and develop search and chat applications utilizing agentic AI • Design and develop AI paths for the Alight engineering organization • Design experiments to evaluate machine learning model and application performance • Analyze and interpret experiment results to improve model performance • Stay current with new tools and technologies and evaluate their potential business impact • Work with stakeholders to develop and tune algorithms for business needs • Explain technical ideas in non-technical terms and educate business partners • Collaborate on a high-performing, agile team with a global presence • Occasionally travel to a physical Alight office location

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with preferred concentrations in Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or related field • Experience writing and working in Python or Spark, including ScalaSpark or PySpark • Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch • Experience with data preparation and data engineering tasks, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and data transformation • Knowledge of deep learning architectures and techniques, including CNNs, RNNs, and reinforcement learning • Familiarity with AWS data and data science tools including SageMaker, Glue, and Lambdas • Experience in Agile and DevOps development processes • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience • US Citizenship required; proof of citizenship status required at hire • Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Artifactory, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins • Work authorization in the United States that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship • Successful completion of a background check and other position-dependent checks
