📋 Description

• Lead, develop, mentor, and manage security engineers and individual contributors • Execute and implement security tools including WAF, EDR, NGAV, and vulnerability scanning • Oversee security tool uptime processes • Research, develop, and maintain knowledge of new tools, techniques, industry best practices, and process improvements for detecting, analyzing, and responding to emerging security threats • Develop and publish security engineering metrics and dashboards • Provide input to departmental KPIs and performance goals • Participate in oversight activities by regulators, auditors, and other appropriate parties • Represent the Security Engineering function on the Information Security Steering Committee • Collaborate with Security Architecture, Security Operations, Identity and Access Management, SRE, and IT teams • Evaluate individual and team performance using metrics and goals • Drive technical discussions, triage, research, and investigations of active and potential threats

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership/management experience within the Information Security field • 8+ years relevant experience in the field • Security leadership/management experience • One or more cybersecurity certifications: CEH, CISSP, GCIH, GSEC, GCIA, GMON, OSCP, or equivalent • In-depth knowledge of cyber-attacks, techniques, threat vectors, risk management, and incident management • Experience in security device management and SIEM (Splunk) and security tools • Proficient in incident management and response • Experience in threat management • Proficient in preparing reports, dashboards, and documentation • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to handle high-pressure situations • Must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment • Must be willing to work without employment sponsorship
