📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health care through a secure, virtual-first platform • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults • Build strong therapeutic relationships and support diverse patient populations • Collaborate virtually with clinical leadership, psychiatrists, PMHNPs, primary care physicians, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals • Conduct comprehensive assessments of behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals • Use therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT • Track client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment outcomes • Communicate treatment plans, progress, and recommendations with clients, families, and stakeholders • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress • Develop safety plans and strategies to prevent or mitigate crises • Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies • Deliver care virtually while meeting quality, documentation, and access standards

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field • Active independent clinical licensure in at least one of Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience providing therapy to youth, adults, and individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges • Experience treating patients ages 13 and older • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions • Excellent communication, relationship-building, documentation, and organizational skills • Experience providing telehealth services • Experience working with specialized populations or treatment areas such as trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, or grief and loss • Familiarity with Athena One EHR and electronic health record documentation standards • Full-time availability for 40 hours per week • Ability to maintain a weekly caseload of approximately 28 to 32 patient visits while meeting quality, documentation, and access standards
