⢠Investigate and confirm facts of loss for advanced homeowner property claims ⢠Determine coverage, evaluate damages, and adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits ⢠Create, review, and audit comprehensive estimates for first-party homeowner claims ⢠Inspect residential properties damaged by wind, hail, water, fire, lightning, and other catastrophic events ⢠Document damages, prepare repair estimates, and work directly with customers through claim resolution ⢠Use virtual inspection and collaboration technology when field inspections are not possible ⢠Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex homeowner property claims ⢠Evaluate settlement alternatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and fair claims practices ⢠Negotiate settlements, issue payments within authority guidelines, and document claim activity ⢠Build relationships with customers, contractors, agents, and internal business partners ⢠Manage claim inventory and prioritize work during catastrophe response events ⢠Utilize inspection technology and emerging tools to support claim investigations and customer service ⢠Complete virtual claim responsibilities, including supplements and reconciliations, between deployments
⢠Experience handling property insurance claims from inspection through final resolution ⢠Knowledge of residential construction methods, repair practices, and property damage assessment ⢠Experience interpreting insurance policies and applying coverage provisions ⢠Familiarity with Xactimate, including estimate writing, sketching, and claim documentation ⢠Experience preparing detailed repair estimates, including complex or large-loss property claims ⢠Farm property claims experience preferred ⢠Ability to evaluate damages and develop estimates exceeding $150,000 when applicable ⢠Experience managing complex claim files ⢠Strong negotiation, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills ⢠Excellent verbal and written communication skills ⢠Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills ⢠Ability to work independently in a fast-paced catastrophe environment ⢠Comfort using mobile technology, virtual inspection tools, and emerging claim technologies ⢠Experience with drone technology or willingness to obtain drone certification ⢠Valid driver's license and willingness to travel ⢠Ability and willingness to travel extensively, up to 90%, including overnight travel and extended catastrophe deployments throughout the United States ⢠Availability to work weekends, holidays, extended hours, and varying schedules during catastrophe events ⢠Ability to safely carry and use a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with up to a 6/12 pitch ⢠Ability to safely inspect residential and commercial properties, including damaged structures ⢠Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and catastrophe-affected environments ⢠Ability to obtain and maintain an adjuster license and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot (Drone) certification; required licenses and certifications must be obtained within 60 days of hire if applicable ⢠Minimum internet speed of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload ⢠Must possess authorization to work in the United States ⢠Not eligible for residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, California, or Washington
