📋 Description

• Lead core compensation initiatives and serve as a strategic advisor to internal clients • Provide compensation consulting to the Personal Property-Liability organization • Evolve compensation governance practices and align compensation programs with compensation philosophy and performance objectives • Lead complex compensation analyses, job evaluations, benchmarking initiatives, and compensation strategy projects • Partner with business leaders and Total Rewards stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and innovative solutions • Lead job evaluation, benchmarking, market pricing, and competitive analysis • Develop and deliver quantitative and qualitative analyses supporting business and compensation decisions • Guide leaders and stakeholders on compensation philosophy, practices, and programs • Develop competitive, cost-effective compensation policies and practices aligned with business strategy • Influence large and complex client groups to drive adoption of compensation strategies and recommendations • Use compensation and market data to inform decision-making • Lead compensation design initiatives across broad-based, sales, specialty, and/or international programs • Support change management and implementation of compensation-related initiatives • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, including compensation analysis, job evaluation, benchmarking, and market pricing • Experience interpreting complex data and translating findings into actionable business recommendations • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and build relationships with business leaders and stakeholders • Experience managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive work forward with minimal direction • Experience supporting or advising business leaders on compensation-related matters • Knowledge of compensation programs and compensation practices • Experience presenting compensation insights and recommendations to leadership • Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities • Problem-solving and analytical thinking • Strong attention to detail and data integrity • Initiative and ownership mindset • Adaptability and curiosity • Ability to influence without direct authority • Strong communication and storytelling with data • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines • Required background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Valid Photo Identification available at the start of the interview
