📋 Description

• Provide technical support throughout the sales process, including customer discovery, solution development, and technical recommendation • Conduct plant audits, system assessments, and operational reviews to identify performance improvement opportunities • Develop technical proposals, treatment recommendations, and customer-facing presentations • Troubleshoot customer systems and treatment programs across industrial water applications • Partner with field sales teams across the U.S. to support strategic opportunities and customer retention • Deliver customer training and educational presentations • Collaborate with internal technical, product, and commercial teams to support growth initiatives • Stay current on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive solutions in industrial water treatment • Serve as a technical advisor and product advocate for ChemTreat solutions • Support evaluation and implementation of treatment programs that improve customer outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field • Approximately 10+ years of experience in industrial water treatment, technical service, technical sales, applications engineering, or a related industrial technical environment • Experience in relevant industries such as food and beverage, power, chemical processing, refining, or other industrial environments • Technical depth in one or more industrial water treatment applications, such as boiler water, cooling water, reverse osmosis, pretreatment, demineralization, wastewater treatment, or clarification • Strong communication, customer-facing, and presentation skills • Ability to explain technical recommendations clearly to sales teams and customers • Willingness and ability to travel 60%–75%, primarily throughout the continental U.S. • Technical sales experience or experience partnering closely with commercial teams is preferred
