📋 Description

• Meet customers at homes, repair shops, or tow yards • Write estimates and guide customers through repair or total loss processes • Conduct in-person visits, virtual inspections, and written communications • Evaluate vehicle damage and collaborate with body shops and service providers • Investigate claims through detailed damage reviews and policy interpretation • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat • Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Document claims accurately and maintain timely records in the claims system • Complete approximately eight weeks of onboarding, licensing if applicable, and role-specific training

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in auto collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell • High School Diploma or GED • Proficient written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to write precise and comprehensive estimates • Comfortable utilizing technology and various platforms for claims processing • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel • Ability to attend required training sessions, participate in virtual learning, and complete the training program • Required adjusters' and/or appraisers' licenses must be obtained within 60 days of hire • Maintain all licensing required for the role, including continuing education and state-affiliated renewal requirements • Background investigation required • Must be located in Pittsburgh, PA • Dedicated, private workspace when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
