📋 Description

• Investigate and analyze complex, multi-discipline coverage and claims referred to the Special Investigation Unit for potential fraud • Conduct background searches, scene investigations, clinic inspections, recorded statements, witness interviews, and social media searches • Conduct surveillance on property and create scene reconstructions on some investigations • Review whether fraud can be substantiated and support lawsuits • Enter SIU claim data into multiple SIU systems • Review investigations with fraud outcomes and validate whether denial is appropriate • Update files with investigation outcomes and return files for further handling when fraud or sufficient evidence is not found • Conduct complex online data searches, research, evaluation, and site inspections • Determine whether payment is warranted on potentially fraudulent claims • Validate information obtained through investigations and follow up on possible leads • Summarize documents and document claim files with notes, evaluations, and decision-making processes • Utilize analytic tools and SIU field intelligence to identify complex claims and support evidence of fraud and damages • Research and respond to complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts, or issues • Provide work guidance, mentoring, and coaching to less senior employees and the team

🎯 Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience preferred • Analytical thinking • Claims processing • Critical thinking • Documentation • Evidence gathering • Fraud investigations • Information collection • Insurance claims investigations • Insurance investigation • Investigative interviewing • Surveillance • Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
