📋 Description

• Investigate basic and occasionally moderately complex auto insurance claims • Handle non-represented claims • Evaluate coverage, determine liability, and assess damages • Conduct recorded statements with claimants, insureds, and witnesses • Negotiate and settle claims according to established guidelines and best practices • Prepare clear, concise claim summaries • Maintain detailed claim files, notes, summaries, and decision rationale • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the claim lifecycle • Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient, customer-focused claim handling

🎯 Requirements

• Preference for candidates residing in East zone states (EST) • 2+ years of prior claim handling experience preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail • Solid critical-thinking and decision-making skills • Comfortable using technology and learning claims-related software and tools • This position is not available for California, Alaska, Washington, and Hawaii residents • Adjuster’s licenses required for the role must be obtained within 60 days of hire and maintained, including continuing education and state-affiliated renewal requirements • Dedicated private workspace at home, free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Appropriate work surface and seating • Background investigation required • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
