📋 Description

• Travel to customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections • Investigate coverage and property damage • Prepare estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software • Settle claims promptly and efficiently • Handle virtual claims countrywide using ClaimsX Video Collaboration and other platforms • Provide compassionate, clear customer service throughout each claim • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat • Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Execute policies according to policy agreements • Maintain timely and accurate claim documentation in the claims system • Complete approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, Texas

🎯 Requirements

• Residency within USA - KY (Remote) is mandatory • 4 years’ previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired • Experience handling claims with multiple trades and over $100,000 in losses • Proficiency in Xactimate and other relevant software for estimating • Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately and expedite claims settlements • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims countrywide • Detail-oriented and organized • Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with up to a 6/12 pitch • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel • Active insurance license holders must terminate existing appointments and cannot hold outside appointments during employment • Resident producer license holders must surrender that license when instructed • May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire • Must pass a background investigation • Not available to California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico residents • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private home workspace with appropriate desk and seating
