📋 Description

• Support and, when appropriate, lead category strategy development and execution • Manage a portfolio of strategic sourcing initiatives with medium to high spend thresholds and complexity • Focus on quality, cost, delivery, risk, sustainability, and supplier inclusion • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align strategies with business objectives and market conditions • Challenge and rationalize requirements, including demand and specifications • Research and analyze market and business insights to provide actionable recommendations that drive value creation • Support development and execution of enterprise category and/or supplier strategies aligned with business product/technology goals • Collect and analyze internal and external category data for data-driven decision making • Translate market research and competitive insights into procurement solutions • Develop and implement sourcing and/or category strategies that maximize value • Develop scopes of work and contractual metrics, including KPIs and SLAs • Ensure contracting compliance and effectiveness • Develop negotiation strategies and influence decisions at all levels • Negotiate favorable contract terms with Allstate Legal when appropriate • Partner with Enterprise Risk & Return Management and Supplier Management on risk, supplier performance, monitoring, and issue resolution • Support supplier onboarding and offboarding • Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers • May lead work performed by others; individual contributor role with no supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in sourcing / contracting of services in a highly regulated environment (Preferred) • Experience supporting travel, meetings and events is preferred, but not required • Proficiency in procurement technology platforms, including e-sourcing, spend analysis, and contract management • Proficient understanding of contracting and the legal commercial environment • Proficiency in negotiating favorable contract terms • Background investigation required • Generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Valid Photo Identification available at the start of a virtual interview
