📋 Description

• Travel to customers' homes to conduct on-site property inspections • Investigate coverage and review damage • Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently • Handle virtual claims countrywide using platforms including Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration • Provide exceptional service to policyholders throughout the claims process • Interpret policies to determine coverage • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat • Offer customers preferred communication methods and provide claim progress updates • Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Document claim work accurately and timely in the claims system • Attend approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, Texas

🎯 Requirements

• Residency within the posted location is mandatory • 2 years' previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired • Previous experience in construction estimating or as an outside adjuster is highly desired • Proficiency in Xactimate and other relevant estimating software • Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims countrywide • Detail-oriented and organized • Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access up to a 6/12 pitch on a one to two-story roof • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Position unavailable to California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico residents • Must submit to a background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire, if applicable
