📋 Description

• Lead the use of data and advanced analytics to drive decisions within Auto Claims • Develop, execute, and manage machine learning predictive modeling algorithms • Code and develop tools using machine learning and predictive modeling for business decisions • Search for and integrate new internal and external structured and unstructured data • Discover machine learning and predictive modeling solutions to business problems • Manage projects of medium complexity • Mentor and provide development support to junior data scientists • Develop complex statistical and machine learning models to address business needs • Review, evaluate, and communicate modeling techniques and results to teams, leadership, and stakeholders • Collaborate on data and complex business problems and partner to implement machine learning and predictive models • Research, evaluate, and apply emerging modeling techniques and technologies • Plan moderately complex machine learning, predictive modeling, and development projects and ensure deadlines are met

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience • 3 or more years of experience as a Data Scientist • Experience with statistical and machine learning techniques • Experience developing predictive models and machine learning tools • Experience working with structured and unstructured data • Experience with data analytics and predictive analytics • Ability to travel up to 10% to regional office for team meetings • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions • Appropriate desk and seating for home working • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Subject to a background investigation • This position is not available for California, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, or Puerto Rico residents • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
