• Build Alpaca's internal infrastructure and developer platform as a product. • Own product definition, platform maturity strategy, intake, backlog, and multi-quarter roadmap for Platform & Infrastructure. • Establish priorities for DevOps, Platform, Infrastructure teams, and internal customers. • Partner directly with the VP of Engineering. • Define and evolve an infrastructure platform maturity model and self-service golden paths. • Own Foundational Infrastructure product goals, including cost attribution/chargeback, efficiency, and CI/CD delivery and adoption KPIs. • Maintain the central backlog and intake process and create a clear monthly delivery roadmap. • Surface platform and infrastructure dependencies before they impact other roadmaps. • Coordinate maintenance windows, runbooks, and market-hours constraints while working toward 24/7 global deployability. • Partner with Infrastructure Engineering and Finance on cost attribution, chargeback, and efficiency. • Increase CI/CD and developer-platform adoption with DevOps App and Platform teams. • Make infrastructure portable for global expansion by distinguishing centralized capabilities from region-deployable components.
• 7+ years as a TPM, product manager technical, or equivalent, with a substantial portion of that time owning infrastructure, platform or developer experience. • Owned a multi-team backlog, intake, and roadmap, and run a planning cadence that teams use. • Technical fluency in compute infrastructure, deployment pipelines (CI/CD), data stores, networking, and cost drivers. • Ability to identify inadequate or hand-wavy technical proposals. • Influenced platform adoption across many teams without a reporting line. • Ability to define crisp scope and clarify ownership boundaries. • Experience in a market-hours-sensitive or regulated production environment, or another domain with deploy windows, change risk, and customer-trust constraints. • Uses AI and automation to remove program toil. • Platform-maturity model, paved-path program, or internal developer platform experience is a nice-to-have. • Experience reducing maintenance windows or change-freeze culture is a nice-to-have. • Multi-region or multi-entity infrastructure experience is a nice-to-have. • Capital markets, brokerage, or other FinTech infrastructure experience is a nice-to-have.
