📋 Description

• Process and manage customer invoicing for LTL freight shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely billing • Audit carrier invoices against rate confirmations, tariffs, and contracts to validate charges • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, including detention, layover, reclassification, and other accessorial charges • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions related to freight operations • Track and follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections • Maintain accurate financial records and update data in TMS and accounting systems • Collaborate with operations, carrier sales, and customer service teams to ensure proper cost allocation and documentation • Assist with month-end closing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting • Ensure compliance with internal policies, customer contracts, and industry regulations

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in logistics accounting, freight brokerage, or a related field • Strong understanding of LTL freight operations, rating, and billing processes • Proficiency in freight management systems (TMS) and accounting software • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
