📋 Description

• Set the UX direction for the core AI and agentic experience, including the vision and roadmap toward the product north star • Partner with the SVP of Product and multiple PMs across New York and the UK to advocate for the best experience within business, timeline, and technical constraints • Solve complex, data-dense UX problems involving defaults, information overload, AI trust, transparency, citations, confidence, control, reversibility, and cohesion across surfaces • Prototype in code and with real data, contribute directly to high-leverage surfaces, and set the craft bar • Define AI-native design standards across the product • Help evolve the code- and AI-readable design system • Coach, grow, and support a small team of senior designers • Hire and level team members as the organization grows • Multiply team impact through UX audits, opportunity maps, product narratives, design reviews, and quality bars • Communicate proposals persuasively to VP and C-level stakeholders using customer evidence and business outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant design experience at technical and product-driven companies • Track record of owning and shipping the experience for a major product area, ideally in complex, data-dense, or expert-user domains • 3+ years in people management preferred • Strong product-design judgment and ability to shape direction using evidence • AI-native product judgment, including trust, control, and workflow transformation in agentic and probabilistic systems • Hands-on craft and technical fluency; comfortable prototyping in code • React or modern front-end experience is an advantage • Experience using AI tools in the design workflow • People leadership, coaching, and team-development capability • Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical partners • Comfort operating in ambiguity across teams • Curiosity about or experience in financial services, fintech, or other high-stakes professional domains • Ability to travel or be located in NYC, a similar time zone, or otherwise work with those teams
