• Drive new business growth by identifying, developing, and closing strategic partnership opportunities across AMA’s sponsorship, advertising, research, events, executive engagement, and other organizational assets • Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research to consistently achieve revenue goals • Develop consultative partnership solutions by understanding client business objectives and designing customized programs that create value for partners and AMA • Collaborate across the organization to develop, deliver, and optimize partnership opportunities while sharing market insights that shape future growth strategies • Grow long-term partner relationships by demonstrating ROI, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving renewals • Manage the sales process by maintaining accurate Salesforce records, forecasts, proposals, contracts, and other sales documentation
• 5–7+ years of experience in B2B consultative sales, partnerships, or business development with a track record of closing new business • Experience prospecting, building pipeline, and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle • Strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills with executive-level stakeholders • 5 years of experience using Salesforce or another CRM to manage pipeline and forecast accurately • Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a bias toward action • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling client proposals • Sponsorship, media, advertising, events, research, or marketing solutions sales experience may also be applicable • Experience selling into enterprise organizations or Fortune 1000 companies may also be applicable • Familiarity with nonprofit, association, higher education, or membership organizations may also be applicable • Existing network of marketing and/or HR and talent decision-makers may also be applicable • Must live in one of the specified U.S. states • Candidates requiring H1-B sponsorship cannot be considered
