• Perform equipment start-up and commissioning of newly installed HVAC systems, including verifying proper operation and settings. • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize system life and efficiency. • Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues such as electrical faults, refrigerant leaks, or airflow imbalances. • Verify that control systems and safety devices are functioning correctly. • Work with project managers and installation teams to resolve post-installation issues quickly and effectively. • Document all service and maintenance work performed, including test results, parts used, and system adjustments. • Provide clear communication to customers about system performance, recommended improvements, and service needs. • Maintain compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures. • Participate in training to stay current with HVAC technologies, diagnostic tools, and energy efficiency practices.
• 4+ years of commercial HVAC service or maintenance experience (installation background a plus). • Advanced knowledge of the refrigeration cycle • Advanced understanding of wiring schematics and troubleshooting • EPA Type 1 & 2 Refrigerant Certification required. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Ability to work in diverse environments (rooftops, mechanical rooms, outdoor conditions).
