📋 Description

• Manage, process, organize, and gather information from incoming patient medical records promptly • Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of secured information • Create and maintain filing systems, classification schemes, checklists, and record schedules • Verify the accuracy of patient records and conduct audits • Safeguard patient and other private information in compliance with HIPAA and legal and regulatory requirements • Create tables, exhibits, memoranda, and other communications products summarizing progress and results • Assist with notetaking and creating or updating documentation • Gather patient demographic information and data for research • Create reports on medical records management activities • Provide information to authorized people in a timely manner • Support a Federal government client • Perform similar duties on other projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Dedicated home office and reliable internet access for secure viewing of protected health information • Two or more years in medical records management or a related capacity working with healthcare records • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel • Ability to perform detailed work consistently, accurately, and under pressure • Ability to read and follow instructions • Self-sufficiency in finding solutions to routine problems • Initiative to ask questions when necessary to complete tasks correctly • Only US citizens and permanent residents will be considered • NACI clearance/access level
