📋 Description

• Participate in and oversee administrative aspects of CHEER programs and grants • Interact with program participants, investigators, student research assistants, and research staff • Assist with program recruitment and schedule meetings • Administer questionnaires and create, file, and maintain program documents • Enter and update data, maintain databases, and run reports • Maintain contact with participating sites to ensure complete and timely data collection • Maintain participating sites’ files • Assist with documenting grant financial and budgetary needs • Support preparation of data and other reports • Manage program records and communication needs • Assist in developing reports, presentations, and data analyses • Create and edit multimedia content, including short video clips, training videos, and digital resources • Assist with developing, scheduling, and publishing social media content, including calendars, graphics, copy, and platform publishing • Assist with data collection and provide progress feedback • Schedule participant meetings and conduct reminder communications • Review data collection forms and check junior staff data entry for accuracy and timeliness • Provide technical guidance to junior staff • Conduct literature searches • Assist investigators with manuscript, presentation, and research preparation • Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement, and education activities • Perform office-related duties including answering phones, managing email accounts, handling mail and faxes, scanning, filing, photocopying, ordering supplies, and maintaining policy manuals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required by time of hire • Major in a field related to the research highly preferred • Minimum of one to two years of experience in the public health field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience recruiting subjects, with understanding of ethical and technical conduct of research • Excellent English communication skills, oral and written • Cultural sensitivity and comfort with a wide range of social, racial, and ethnic populations • Organizational ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize duties • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint • Ability to perform basic data management tasks, including coding, data entry, data cleaning, and retrieval • Ability to perform basic data analysis and reporting in words, numbers, and graphics • Experience creating and managing social media content across multiple platforms • Proficiency with graphic design and multimedia tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite • Experience editing short-form videos and creating educational or training videos for digital audiences • Spanish bilingual or multilingual skills preferred • Experience with statistical analysis tools a plus
