📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts traceable to business requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected user outcomes • Perform functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, and exploratory testing • Document, track, prioritize, and validate defect resolution • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives • Validate application performance, usability, accessibility, and overall user experience • Create and maintain test data, testing documentation, and release readiness reports • Analyze defect trends and testing metrics to identify quality improvement opportunities • Support release validation and provide QA readiness input for production deployment decisions • Ensure technology solutions meet established quality standards before production deployment

🎯 Requirements

• Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, integration testing, or application quality management • Experience creating and executing manual test plans and test cases • Experience with defect management processes • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle practices • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar testing and defect tracking platforms • Experience with Student Information Systems and CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365 or Salesforce preferred • Knowledge of regression, integration, user acceptance, and exploratory testing techniques • Experience with API testing, integration validation, and basic SQL or data validation preferred • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Hands-on experience with test automation tools, scripting, or automation frameworks preferred • ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Agile Tester, or similar QA certification preferred • Must be able to work remotely from the United States, excluding Alaska, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, South Dakota, and Alabama • Remote work location must have minimum internet speeds of 50Mbps download and 5Mbps upload • Purchase, setup, installation, support, and maintenance of reliable internet service are the individual's responsibility
