📋 Description

• Deploy, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers across physical, virtual, and cloud environments • Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, availability, and performance; respond to alerts and proactively resolve issues • Administer and support AWS and hybrid-cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, security groups, IAM, and resource monitoring • Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID services, including users, groups, licensing, Group Policy, permissions, authentication, and access controls • Maintain DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN connectivity, certificates, and related configuration standards • Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot operating systems, infrastructure tools, and business applications • Support backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes • Implement security hardening, vulnerability remediation, privileged-access controls, and configuration improvements • Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents; perform root-cause analysis and document corrective actions • Automate administration, monitoring, reporting, and deployment tasks using scripting and configuration-management tools • Maintain infrastructure inventories, configurations, support records, diagrams, standard operating procedures, and disaster recovery documentation • Manage infrastructure asset and service lifecycles, including capacity planning, renewals, upgrades, vendor coordination, and retirement of obsolete systems • Partner with application, security, network, service desk, and business teams on technology solutions and production changes • Participate in scheduled monthly maintenance windows and rotating weekend on-call coverage • Research and recommend improvements to reliability, security, scalability, automation, and operational efficiency • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience • 5+ years of experience administering Windows and Linux server environments • Experience supporting cloud or hybrid-cloud environments • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments • Working knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, and networking fundamentals • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN concepts • Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity/access management practices • Experience supporting backup, recovery, and business continuity processes • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Participation in an on-call rotation • Participation in scheduled monthly maintenance activities • Ongoing training, certifications, and professional development • Preferred: Microsoft or AWS certifications • Preferred: Experience with Cisco networking and security technologies • Preferred: Experience supporting hybrid Microsoft 365 and AWS environments • Preferred: Exposure to infrastructure security best practices and vulnerability management
