• Conduct on-site and in-person investigations • Determine claim compensability • Establish reserves • Document decision making • Issue benefit payments • Make notifications to the State administrative authority • Work with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and legal professionals • Ensure appropriate benefits are provided under applicable Workers' Compensation Laws • Manage a target caseload of 60 claims • Travel frequently within a designated territory, with overnight travel rarely required
• Workers Compensation Claims experience required • Bachelor's degree or related professional business experience acceptable • State license to handle Workers' Compensation claims if required • Professional written and verbal communication skills required • World class customer service attitude required • Ability to learn and use proprietary software and Microsoft Office products • Ability to be self-directed • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and acceptable vehicle required • Frequent travel within a designated territory required • Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug test • Motor vehicle report review, if applicable • Must meet safety-sensitive position requirements for roles requiring company driving
