📋 Description

• Lead AmeriSave's software engineering organization across multiple product and platform teams • Set engineering standards, architecture direction, and delivery cadence • Own Azure cloud infrastructure and SQL Server database environments, including architecture, cost management, performance tuning, and platform strategy • Maintain high 99.99% system uptime and drive monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and engineering discipline • Own information security posture and security infrastructure while partnering with Compliance and Risk • Set the company’s AI strategy and oversee AI-powered platform capabilities, automation, and applied AI/ML initiatives • Own enterprise networking architecture across data center, cloud, and remote/hybrid workforce connectivity • Own disaster recovery and business continuity planning, recovery objectives, failover testing, and readiness • Lead infrastructure and application capacity planning and forecasting • Build, develop, and retain engineering talent and leadership; manage development resourcing and prioritization • Partner with the CEO, CIO/CISO, and executive leadership to translate business strategy into a technology roadmap • Represent Technology in Board and investor conversations • Manage the technology budget, infrastructure spend, tooling, and headcount

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience • 5+ years in a senior executive technology role such as CTO or VP Engineering • Preferably experience within the mortgage industry, a well-known mortgage lender, or financial services company • Experience leading software engineering organizations that build and maintain proprietary systems • Deep, hands-on expertise with Azure cloud infrastructure and SQL Server at production scale • Proven record sustaining high 99.99% uptime for business-critical customer-facing systems • Strong information security management and security infrastructure background • Familiarity with financial services regulatory and audit expectations • Experience directing applied AI/ML initiatives in a production engineering organization • Enterprise networking expertise, including cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, and network security • Experience owning disaster recovery and business continuity planning, failover testing, and recovery objectives • Experience with infrastructure and application capacity planning • Strong people leadership and development resource management experience across a large, multi-team organization • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills; able to present to the CEO, Board, and investors • Hands-on experience with Aloha software • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required • High-speed internet for remote work; Cable or Fiber only, Ethernet connectivity, and minimum speeds of 70/30 Mbps
