📋 Description

• Define, evaluate, and scale tools, platforms, AI agents, workflows, and Product Development Lifecycle infrastructure supporting modern product management • Own product requirements, tool evaluation, and adoption support for Digital Product Operating Model tools and platforms • Evaluate tools and workflows supporting product strategy, discovery, roadmapping, OKRs, prioritization, intake, requirements, stakeholder alignment, delivery, measurement, documentation, and lifecycle management • Partner with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders to understand workflow needs, pain points, adoption barriers, and technology enablement opportunities • Define and enable Amgen’s AI-assisted and AI-led Product Development Lifecycle vision • Experiment with and evaluate AI-enabled tools, agents, and workflows • Partner with AI, technology, architecture, data, security, privacy, quality, and governance stakeholders • Define and improve Product Development Lifecycle tools, workflows, and practices • Lead pilots, onboarding, training, stakeholder alignment, feedback loops, and adoption measurement • Embed with product teams to improve product management practices and accelerate Digital Product Operating Model adoption • Coach Digital Product Managers and cross-functional team members on product management skills • Temporarily perform product management responsibilities when no Digital Product Manager is assigned • Help teams adopt outcome-driven product management and clarify roles, decision rights, operating rhythms, and success measures • Shape product vision, strategy, roadmaps, OKRs, KPIs, value realization plans, and prioritization decisions • Execute the Catalyst engagement model, including assessment, planning, coaching, adoption measurement, transition planning, and learning capture • Define engagement success measures and translate lessons into reusable examples, templates, practices, and playbook improvements • Build stakeholder relationships, influence without formal authority, communicate progress and risks, and escalate blockers to the Director, Product Management Catalysts when needed

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Digital Product, Product Management, Product Leadership, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy, or related experience, or Master’s degree and 6 years, or Bachelor’s degree and 8 years, or Associate degree and 10 years, or high school diploma/GED and 12 years • Minimum of 2 years of experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing resource allocation • Minimum of 2 years of experience may run concurrently with required technical experience • 5+ years of progressive experience in product operations, digital product management, product tooling, digital transformation, technology enablement, AI-enabled workflows, or related disciplines preferred • Strong understanding of product management practices across the Product Development Lifecycle • Experience evaluating, implementing, or driving adoption of product management tools, portfolio planning, intake, roadmapping, analytics, documentation, collaboration, or AI-enabled workflows • Comfort experimenting with tools, AI agents, prototypes, automations, and workflow improvements • Ability to translate product team needs into requirements, pilots, recommendations, enablement plans, and scalable workflows • Ability to partner with technology, architecture, AI, data, security, privacy, quality, procurement, and governance teams • Experience supporting tool adoption, change enablement, training, documentation, or workflow redesign in complex enterprise environments • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Ability to balance innovation, usability, governance, quality, trust, and responsible AI considerations • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building new capabilities • Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, or other regulated industries preferred • Familiarity with AI-native product development, generative AI workflows, responsible AI principles, and AI’s role in product management strongly preferred
