• Develop and execute comprehensive, high-impact scientific publication, communication, and customer engagement strategies • Collaborate across Medical Affairs and Clinical Development to ensure consistent, compliant, and compelling communication of scientific and clinical evidence • Lead development and oversee implementation of global and US scientific communication and HCP engagement plans • Adapt strategies based on disease landscape evolution, emerging data, channel innovation, and cross-functional insights • Define, implement, and track metrics assessing publication and enhanced-content impact • Translate scientific communication and HCP engagement plans into global and US publications and medical, scientific, and payer content with Amgen India • Develop product publication plans and manage publication planning and execution • Develop strategic scientific content briefs and guide publication deliverables, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, oral presentations, and enhanced content • Provide input to process improvements, standardization, systems enhancements, and digital innovation • Define and track KPIs measuring impact and efficiency • Assist in training Scientific Communications staff in India and across geographies • Cultivate collaboration across Amgen India Scientific Communications and cross-functional partners and affiliates • Manage external vendors and agencies for quality and compliance • Assist in transitioning vendor activities to Amgen India • Provide mentorship as needed
• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience OR Master’s degree and 6 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience OR High school diploma/GED and 12 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience • Proven experience in publication strategy, publication development, and vendor management in the biopharmaceutical industry, and/or clinical or research in the therapeutic area • Experience in publication planning, publication guidelines, and transparency standards, including ICMJE and current Good Publication Practice Guidelines • Strong analytical and communication skills • Experience in multi-channel scientific platforms and digital engagement capabilities at a pharma company or digital agency primarily or exclusively serving pharma companies • Artificial Intelligence literacy and digital fluency • Travel required approximately 10–20% • Sponsorship for this role is not guaranteed
