📋 Description

• Lead the design, execution and delivery of real-world evidence studies and analyses supporting Amgen’s pipeline and in-line medicines • Contribute to innovative analytic methods, capabilities and tools for rapid, scalable and reproducible real-world evidence • Leverage real-world data and CfOR analytic approaches to advise high-value business decisions for multiple collaborators • Communicate significant scientific information to a variety of audiences • Build collaborations and promote awareness, understanding and use of observational research methods with key partners • Generate insights and build collaborations and capabilities related to disease-state epidemiology, treatment patterns and medication safety

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of related epidemiology and research experience, OR Master’s degree and 6 years of related research and scientific experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related research and scientific experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related research and scientific experience, OR High School diploma/GED and 12 years of related research and scientific experience • Doctorate in Epidemiology or another subject with high observational research content preferred • Experience designing, executing and analyzing observational research studies in pharmaceutical and/or public health settings • Experience conducting research supporting drug development • Experience working with secondary data systems, including administrative claims, EMR and registries • Experience in observational research project planning and management • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills • Experience working with and leading multidisciplinary teams • Experience in dermatology research and/or other inflammation therapeutic areas preferred
