📋 Description

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals • Act as the primary customer contact and implement marketing strategy • Promote Amgen products as directed by the District Manager • Communicate product clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization • Achieve territory sales targets through branded sales messages, planned programs, medical education programs, and in-person and virtual engagement • Develop, service, and manage customer accounts • Customize customer discussions based on customer needs • Ensure product access and resolve or triage reimbursement issues • Maintain product contracts • Provide marketing strategy feedback and analyze sales activity and territory effectiveness • Develop territory plans with the District Manager • Share best practices and collaborate with colleagues • Sustain product passion throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and serving patients • Uphold Amgen values

🎯 Requirements

• Specialty Representative: Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience, or high school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience • Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales and/or non-sales clinical experience in healthcare/scientific fields, or Associate degree and 6 years of such experience, or high school diploma/GED and 8 years of such experience • Experience in sales, marketing and/or clinical work within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, healthcare medical device or medical supply industries preferred • Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills focused on sales outcomes • Local market knowledge • Product or hospital sales experience in relevant specialties preferred • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration preferred • Adaptability with sales planning, business/technical knowledge, impactful communication, results orientation, and relationship cultivation • Ability to work in the Nashville, Clarksville, Franklin, and Murfreesboro territory • Relocation is not offered for this role
