📋 Description

• Support the Obesity Therapeutic Area Leadership Team and partner with VPs, Global Development of Obesity • Support the function head in strategy development, goal setting, execution of organizational plans, organizational communications, project management, and functional project implementation • Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations, including Operating/Business Reviews, All-Staff presentations, and business performance reports • Develop and lead functional budget and resource planning and tracking aligned with the global budget process • Oversee validation and maintenance of functional resource algorithms and review resource forecasting assessments • Drive headcount tracking and new position approvals; work with leaders and HR on recruiting, onboarding, and talent management • Convert unstructured business issues and requests into action plans and projects with impactful deliverables • Prepare functional leadership and staff meetings, including agendas, presentations, and external speaker engagement • Represent business strategy for the function and partner with Human Resources, Finance, and Corporate Communications • Lead or represent the function on process change and improvement initiatives • Develop business relationships and drive best practices with Global Development SP&Os and across R&D functions and departments

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of related experience in biopharma setting OR Master's degree and 4 years of related experience in biopharma setting OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience in biopharma setting OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of related experience in biopharma setting OR high school diploma/GED and 12 years of related experience in biopharma setting • MBA, PhD, PharmD, or Master’s Degree with 10 years of work experience in lab sciences and biopharmaceutical industry, including 4 or more years in R&D, preferred • Good knowledge of clinical development, financial budgeting, and workforce strategies preferred • Experience leading cross-functional teams and organizational change initiatives, including business case development preferred • Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills preferred • Strong influencing and negotiating skills preferred • Demonstrated organization management experience, including developing and mentoring staff, preferred
