📋 Description

• Support Amgen-sponsored clinical trials, focusing on key programs within Global Development Operations • Oversee the performance and quality of Clinical Pharmacology CROs and laboratory suppliers • Ensure supplier alignment with Amgen’s strategy and standards • Develop strategic relationships and facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders • Facilitate supplier governance meetings and operating reviews • Monitor key performance indicators and manage issues • Support supplier evaluation, selection, and startup • Align supplier strategy and capabilities with business needs and priorities • Build relationships with study teams, functional leads, procurement, quality, compliance, and suppliers • Lead proactive supplier risk management at portfolio and study level • Identify, develop, and implement supplier process improvements • Standardize and align clinical trial execution across programs and portfolios • Assess and implement technologies and innovations • Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and special projects • Facilitate mentoring, training, and career development of direct reports • Manage direct-report performance and feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of clinical experience, or master’s degree and 4 years, or bachelor’s degree and 6 years, or associate’s degree and 10 years, or high school diploma/GED and 12 years • BS/BA/BSc in the sciences or RN preferred • 9 years’ work experience in a life sciences or medically related field, including 6 years of biopharmaceutical clinical research experience • Clinical research experience obtained at a biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO company • Experience with Clinical Pharmacology • Experience working in a laboratory • Experience working with and/or overseeing suppliers on clinical trials • Experience with risk management • Experience leading direct reports • Experience working in a global, matrix organization • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), FDA regulations and guidelines, and international regulatory requirements/guidelines • Clinical trials execution experience • Project management experience • Proficiency in proactive issue management • Experience writing and presenting clearly to Senior Management • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and supervisory skills • Professional collaboration and leadership skills
