• Coordinate and partner with OEM regional personnel • Conduct in-depth dealer visits focused on Dealer Leadership, Service Manager, Parts Manager, and Service Lane Training • Promote GM Tire Programs with focus on Service Lane Operations, Tire RO Penetration growth, and related around-the-wheel service parts (Halo Effect) • Serve as communication liaison for the GM Tire Program, including promotions, products, and tire-related updates • Provide field/dealer improvement suggestions to the GM Business Owner • Develop and instill best practices for selling tires in the service lane across all locations through a Standardized Contact Process • Train Tire Distributors on operations, incentives, communications, reports, online tools, and GM Tire Program playbook elements • Suggest and develop new tools and applications, such as Stocking Guide and Scorecard, for GM Tire Central and beyond • Develop and execute programs to accelerate program growth and drive sales, such as Expand the Expertise and Tire Clinics • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • 10+ years tire industry experience, including retail, wholesale, management, training, marketing, and program development, or equivalent experience in related environment • Considered an industry expert in tire retail, marketing, and management experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Willingness to travel within Metro Market areas and occasionally to headquarters • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools • Passion for the marketing discipline (products and consumers) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders • Ability to manage conflicting demands with demonstrated project management expertise • Business acumen (commercial experience) • Aftermarket Parts and service knowledge • Well organized with a strong drive for results - able to drive the business and manage their time effectively • A good understanding of data management and analytics • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products • Background: Marketing / Sales • Tire Industry experience across all levels - from working with/in Retail Stores to working directly with Tire Manufacturers • Leadership: Able to work independently or with minor supervision / team player • Valid driver's license, in good standing and reliable transportation • Standing for long periods of time • Extensive driving and traveling to customer accounts (up to 80%) • Travel by vehicle
