📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end implementation of the NextGen PM system and ancillary systems for assigned sites • Gather requirements, assess workflows, plan projects, and manage implementation through training, go-live support, and transfer to end-user support • Balance multiple projects while maintaining AMSURG platform standards • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle teams and Business Operations Managers to implement NextGen for project needs • Build systems, create user documentation, and conduct end-user training for ASC, CBO, and corporate users • Develop repeatable implementation processes and support successful revenue cycle management • Implement post-go-live features, ancillary products, and version updates using follow-up and phased training • Review, update, maintain, and use NextGen training materials • Provide Tier 2 NextGen support to centers and Central Billing Office users • Assess configurations and develop customized modifications for centers, CBOs, and anesthesia entities • Troubleshoot NextGen configuration and specification issues with vendors and payers • Participate as a subject matter expert in implementation integrations, perform system testing, and troubleshoot interface issues • Assist EDI Specialists with payer and claim-related issues • Assess complex ASC workflows and optimize NextGen and vendor-product configurations • Facilitate meetings, demonstrations, and training for center staff • Conduct training for small and large groups onsite and remotely • Conduct performance reviews for existing centers and practices to identify efficiency improvements • Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues • Evaluate and revise configurations for upgrades and regulatory requirements • Communicate issues and solution options to AMSURG staff and Operations teams • Create and update training materials, guides, and curricula • Monitor the Background Business Processor as needed • Travel approximately 30–50% for site assessments and go-live support • Follow company policies and Information Security Policies • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent of four years of professional experience in an appropriate healthcare environment • At least two years of direct use experience with NextGen Practice Management version 5.8 and higher • Thorough understanding of revenue cycle workflows in ambulatory surgery centers and/or medical practices • Ability to perform required responsibilities satisfactorily • Preferred: two years of Practice Management training experience within medical practices or surgery centers, or equivalent Project Lead/Core Team experience on EPM installations with configuration and table-maintenance responsibilities • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience is a plus • Billing Office management experience or firm understanding of billing, CPT, and ICD-10 coding preferred • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for 5010 and ICD-10 highly desirable • Ability to travel approximately 30–50% • Ability to conduct training in onsite and remote settings • Ability to collaborate with Revenue Cycle teams, Business Operations Managers, vendors, payers, EDI Specialists, and Operations teams • Ability to comply with company and Information Security Policies • Regular and reliable attendance required
