📋 Description

• Develop AI-powered code transformation tools using foundation models and agentic frameworks to migrate instrumentation to OpenTelemetry standards across Java, Python, Node.js, .NET, and browser-based RUM • Build AI-agent parsing and analysis engines using Model Context Protocol tools to transform APM instrumentation code • Design and implement LLM-driven dashboard migration tools with functional-equivalence validation • Develop agentic alert migration automation for alerting policies, conditions, notification channels, and escalation workflows • Create validation and testing frameworks to compare metrics and traces, migration progress dashboards, and rollback procedures • Build CLI tools, scripts, and self-service migration utilities with guides and best-practices documentation • Contribute to observability operations, including log PII detection, log pipeline integration, cost optimization, and monitoring of EKS, EC2, and Lambda • Support Harness deployment pipeline integration with observability alerts • Partner with application, security, compliance, and platform engineering teams • Present work at team demos and showcase events; contribute to documentation, runbooks, and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Strong development experience in Python and ability to write high-quality code • Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Cline, Roo Code, Kiro, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools • Full-stack development exposure with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks; React preferred, Vue, or Angular • Familiarity with at least 2–3 programming languages from Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, testing, and design patterns • Experience with or strong interest in observability concepts, including logs, metrics, traces, and distributed systems • Experience with database design and SQL, including MySQL or PostgreSQL • Exposure to APM tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar platforms preferred • Experience with AWS Cloud services including CloudWatch, Lambda, EKS, EC2, Fargate, SQS, and SNS • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities • Background check required for employment
