• Administer and manage cloud and on-premises applications • Perform technical testing, troubleshooting, analysis, installation, configuration, and maintenance • Manage vendor relationships • Provide technical guidance on application capabilities, limitations, and requirements • Design IT solutions using existing tools and technologies • Assess compatibility and integration of proposed products and services • Establish and implement cost-effective, results-based IT applications programs and initiatives under direct supervision • Investigate application-system issues, troubleshoot errors, research corrective approaches, and implement changes • Coach junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities • Define system-security levels, monitor access, coordinate setups, and maintain system-operation integrity • Act as a technical subject-matter-expert resource • Identify, research, analyze, and write business requirements • Evaluate third-party vendors and software through due diligence and ongoing management • Promote and coordinate standardization of application development, maintenance, and support
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, computer information systems, or related field • 4–6 years within a hospital or health information systems environment • 3–5 years of experience supporting, maintaining, and implementing software applications • Basic awareness of problem-solving and decision-making skills • Basic awareness of digital literacy skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio • Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
