📋 Description

• Partner with Business Units to improve Out-of-Box Quality and serviceability of system shipments • Drive design-for-installation initiatives for new products • Develop workforce modeling, long-range planning, and resource needs • Coordinate installation and warranty spending and drive data-driven improvements • Define installation strategies focused on safety, quality, cycle time, and cost • Establish data governance and KPI standardization • Drive systemic fixes based on feedback from field teams • Enhance supplier testing and analytics to prevent field failures • Develop systems and processes for installation documents, training, tooling, continuous improvement, and lessons learned • Accelerate training for complex installations at advanced nodes • Adopt digital tools and AI for predictive planning and quality assurance • Standardize governance for technology integration across business units and field teams • Lead talent strategy focused on future skill sets and advanced technical capabilities • Lead through subordinate managers of managers and execute segment/functional business plans • Resolve highly complex or unusual business problems using advanced analytical judgment • Negotiate and influence senior executives and external organizations • Comply with Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct

🎯 Requirements

• Broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories, and practices • Broad industry and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance • Experience leading through subordinate managers of managers • Ability to execute segment/functional business plans and contribute to strategy development • Advanced analytical thought and judgment for highly complex or unusual business problems • Ability to negotiate and influence senior executives and external organizations • Understanding of and compliance with Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct • Willingness to travel 25% of the time
