• Own the Build & Deliver phases of the product development lifecycle • Translate agile PRDs into granular features, stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and reproduction steps • Decompose initiatives into epics, features, and stories, and create detailed buildable requirements • Maintain complete, accurately categorized Jira tickets mapped to the correct epic, initiative, release, and quarter • Groom and stage multiple sprints of ready work in a clean backlog • Independently break down work, prioritize competing stories, make tradeoffs, and triage bugs by severity and urgency • Run daily scrum ceremonies, including refinement, backlog grooming, and daily stand-up • Collaborate with global development teams across ceremonies • Manage day-to-day dependencies across partner teams such as data science • Coordinate release execution using feature toggles and phased or hidden-release techniques • Create release notes, user guides, and internal FAQs for CSMs, sales, and customer service • Ensure analytics tagging is scoped into every new development • Provide proactive status updates and surface risks, dependencies, and blockers with recommended next steps • Coordinate approved and validated work from decision through release, documentation, and deployment readiness
• 3+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar delivery-focused role in an agile software environment • Demonstrated skill translating requirements into well-formed epics, features, and stories with clear acceptance criteria • Expert-level Jira discipline, including field completeness, correct epic/initiative/release/quarter mapping, and backlog hygiene • Ability to independently decompose work, prioritize, make tradeoffs under capacity constraints, and triage bugs by severity • Proven track record solo-running requirements-review meetings, including refinement, grooming, and stand-up, with development teams • Deep familiarity with agile ceremonies, best practices, anti-patterns, and Definition of Ready / Definition of Done • Comfort coordinating cross-team dependencies • Working knowledge of release mechanics, feature toggles, phased/hidden releases, and release best practices • Ability to write or quickly learn to write release notes, user guides, and internal FAQs • Basic understanding of analytics tagging and product performance measurement • Excellent written and spoken communication • Impeccable organization, follow-through, and integrity • Currently using AI in work or genuinely excited to learn • Kind, collaborative, respectful temperament • Willingness to travel approximately 15% • Experience specifically building B2B SaaS is a bonus • Retail experience is a plus, not a requirement • Experience establishing or maturing formal sprint-planning practice is a bonus • Technical curiosity and track record of expanding knowledge base • Deep technical skills are not required on day one, but willingness to grow technical depth is expected
