📋 Description

• Serve as the single contractor point of contact for VHA requests and contractor performance matters, reporting to the Contracting Officer’s Representative • Develop and deliver the contract kickoff package within 10 business days of contract start • Deliver the closeout package no later than 10 business days before contract end • Organize and track six concurrent project workstreams and provide summary reports to the government every two weeks • Plan, coordinate, and track sprint cycles across AI inventory, risk management, oversight, strategy, and field operations workstreams • Coordinate labor assignments, maintain the contractor staff roster, and track background investigation status • Provide VA roster updates within one business day of employee-status changes • Manage a high-volume program deliverable schedule spanning more than 20 deliverables across six workstreams • Provide project management support to five field-based pilot AI project development teams • Support qualitative and quantitative evaluation of program implementation • Identify, track, escalate, and resolve risks and issues with the government team • Maintain program compliance artifacts, including government-furnished equipment tracking and security-form and training completion

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience • Experience successfully managing a large-scale program encompassing multiple projects, with comparable lifecycle budget and complexity • Experience planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out programs supporting an agency’s mission • BA/BS in Business, Health Administration, Information Systems, or a related field • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required, or a similar-quality project management certification with at least 4 years’ experience supporting a large corporation or government agency • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated Tier 1 / NACI background investigation • Must complete VA Privacy and Information Security Awareness and Rules of Behavior training prior to system access and annually thereafter • Must be authorized to work in the United States • All work must be performed within a jurisdiction subject to United States or its territories’ law • Preferred: 8+ years of experience, including 4+ years on technical, artificial intelligence, or health IT projects • Master’s degree preferred • SAFe or Certified ScrumMaster certification preferred • Demonstrated experience managing a fully remote, geographically distributed delivery team • Fluency in Agile and SAFe delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative deliverable review • Experience delivering work on large federal health IT contract vehicles strongly preferred • Experience developing kickoff and closeout packages and running formal deliverable acceptance cycles under a government quality assurance surveillance plan • Working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative program evaluation methods • Comfort operating as the accountable point of contact to a government customer under a firm fixed price structure • Knowledge of military and Veteran populations • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Ability to quickly understand complex issues and work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment • Capable self-starter with high attention to detail
