📋 Description

• Provide technical systems engineering support for enterprise customers and channel partners • Partner with Account teams to identify SD-WAN opportunities and gather WAN requirements • Design VeloCloud SD-WAN and broader Arista solutions aligned with customer technical and business objectives • Support sales of VeloCloud SD-WAN and campus solutions through channel partners and directly to end customers • Deliver presentations and demonstrations and participate in sales calls with prospects and customers • Architect VeloCloud SD-WAN networks using cloud-delivered architecture, Dynamic Multipath Optimization, and integrated security capabilities • Architect and position Arista SD-Branch architecture and full-stack branch networking and security solutions • Design integrated solutions spanning SD-WAN, campus switching, wireless, and security, including Zero Trust Networking and branch-level topology • Lead technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and sales proposals • Translate WAN requirements into design documents, statements of work, bills of materials, and support arrangements • Perform Proofs of Concept and hands-on tests to validate customer setups • Provide technical training to prospects, customers, and channel partners • Handle customer escalations with Engineering and Technical Support • Provide customer and partner feedback to Engineering and Product Management • Represent Arista at customer and industry events, conferences, and channel partner presentations

🎯 Requirements

• BS/CS/CE technical degree or relevant experience required • Minimum of 7+ years of pre-sales experience with data centers, campus, WAN technologies, or cloud services • Experience working through Value Added Resellers and Systems Integrators for enterprise markets • Experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Networking Engineer in the WAN networking space • Hands-on experience managing POCs, field trials, and beta programs • Experience supporting sales personnel on pre-sales calls, presenting technical solutions, performing technical demonstrations, and providing technical context • Expert knowledge in three or more of: Ethernet/LAN switching, IPSec, IP Routing (OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, and SD-WAN technologies • Knowledge of cloud services and routing functionality in AWS, Azure, or GCP Virtual Private Clouds • Experience selling or supporting Arista campus portfolio, including switches, WiFi, and security solutions • Knowledge of Arista EOS and CloudVision for unified management and zero-touch operations • Exceptional communication and listening skills; ability to establish rapport and credibility with enterprise customers and channel partners • Ability to present technology and business propositions effectively to customers, peers, and management • Network Industry Certification is a plus • Knowledge of REST API, Python scripting, and Ansible is a plus
