📋 Description

• Partner with Business Development at intake to confirm scope, timelines, service requirements, and customer strategy before pricing begins • Review shipment data to determine which lanes fit partial truckload, refrigerated LTL, or expedite services, and flag freight better served by another mode • Field questions on expected volume, lane pricing, dedicated or committed capacity, and facility or warehouse constraints • Build internal pricing files using historical Arrive data, third-party market data, and carrier feedback • Set equipment and capacity assumptions by lane • Apply margin to all costs according to the predetermined customer strategy • Collaborate with carrier sales and mode-specific teams to validate capacity and cost • Format pricing into customer bid templates and own quality control, submission, and storage for assigned RFPs • Deliver assigned RFPs complete and on time • Provide Bid Development and RFP stakeholders with summaries of each bid • Gather and record award results and customer feedback • Recommend improvements to pricing tools, templates, and processes • Stay flexible as processes, markets, and priorities change

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience • 2–3+ years in freight, logistics, or pricing; RFP or bid experience strongly preferred • Working knowledge of specialized services • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, large datasets, and bid templates • Ability to manage several bids at once and meet hard deadlines • Highly organized, detail-oriented approach and clear communication skills
