📋 Description

• Design, build, and publish Power BI reports that consume Fabric semantic models in DirectLake and Import modes • Translate business needs into logical data models and intuitive, clearly labeled report layouts • Write and optimize DAX measures that power business KPIs • Gather, document, and refine reporting requirements with business partners • Apply row-level and object-level security in semantic models to meet governance standards • Validate reports against source data for accuracy • Create certified datasets and reusable templates for self-service analytics • Participate in peer reviews of reports, DAX logic, and model design • Present findings and partner across teams to turn data into decisions • Use AI tools to improve analysis and speed delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 1 to 3 years building Power BI reports and dashboards in a professional setting • Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience, including data modeling, is required • AI experience is required, with a track record of using AI tools in your work • Working knowledge of DAX for measures, calculated columns, and time-intelligence functions • Solid data modeling fundamentals such as star schema, relationships, and cardinality • SQL to query relational sources and validate the data behind your reports • Power Query and M for Import-mode transformations • Clear communication and the ability to collaborate across teams to present data and solve problems • A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience • Experience aligned with membership or loyalty programs is a huge plus • DP-600 Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification is preferred, and required within 12 months of hire
