📋 Description

• Serve as the primary reimbursement expert supporting the field on reimbursement of Arthrex products • Assist the Director, Market Access and Reimbursement with company strategies and field reimbursement initiatives • Educate and train the Sales team and agencies on US reimbursement, including coding, coverage, payment, and contracting • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Regulatory teams to develop customer-facing tools, economic models, and reimbursement tactics • Partner with Sales leadership to plan and prioritize customer visits and deliver education and value-based messages • Develop and implement reimbursement, market access, and value-based strategies to broaden patient access • Develop and support relationships with local physician champions for payer and intermediary interactions • Ensure compliance within the functional area and support organizational compliance objectives • Travel up to 40%

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in healthcare delivery and/or administration, a healthcare insurance plan, or the medical device industry • Bachelor's degree required • Orthopedic medical device experience desired but not required • Prior field reimbursement experience in medical device desired but not required • Certified Professional Coder is a plus • Detailed knowledge of medical device billing and coding, including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 • Detailed knowledge of payer coverage requirements, prior authorization, claim submission, adjudication, and appeals processes • Knowledge of US healthcare policy, payment systems, and contracting methodologies, including Medicare and commercial payers • Knowledge of inpatient, outpatient, physician office, and ASC/HOPD sites of service • Ability to train sales team members on coding, coverage, reimbursement, and contracting concepts • Demonstrated ability to set and manage priorities while managing multiple projects • Ability to work with ambiguity and adapt in a rapidly changing environment • Experience working as part of functional and cross-functional teams • High customer service orientation and outstanding interpersonal skills • Ability to prioritize and implement multiple workstreams with multiple stakeholder audiences • Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision • Demonstrated account management and customer service skills, including CRM use such as Salesforce • Computer literacy, including remote connectivity and Microsoft Office Suite • Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record • Ability to travel throughout the U.S. by plane, train, or vehicle • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and analytics and business intelligence software
